General Learning Center Information
- Book your lesson by calling Snow Snake at 989-539-6583.
- Location: Check in at the Front Desk Counter inside lodge. Arrive 30 minutes before the start of the lesson.
- Tickets: Individual lessons do not include a lift ticket. A lift ticket is required for each person using the area and can be purchased at the Ticket Booth.
- Rentals: Skis, snowboards, ski & snowboard boots, poles, and helmets are available in rental department. Rentals are not included in lesson price.

- Private one-on-one, one or two hour lesson for all abilities (first timers, beginners, intermediate, and advanced)

Free SKI Lesson Sunday
Advanced Reservations Required – Register Online or Call 989-539-6583
Snow Snake is excited to offer free “First Timer and Beginner Ski Lessons” throughout the month of January and February. The one hour, beginner group ski lesson begins between 11:15 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. This is a “Station-by-Station” lesson. Once you accomplish one station, you progress to the next station.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to get equipment and lift tickets. Already a skier, share the love and invite your friends that have been wanting to learn! Skiers only and must be at least 8 years old.

Family Ski & Snowboard Lesson

Experience the joy of skiing or snowboarding as a family! Our 2-hour Family Lesson is designed for parents and kids to learn side by side with one of our friendly instructors. You’ll start with the basics — balance, turning, and stopping — and build confidence together on gentle terrain.
Whether it’s your family’s first time on the snow or you’re looking to improve together, this special session makes learning fun, supportive, and memorable for everyone.
Details:
Duration: 2 hours (includes short hot chocolate break)
Ages: Great for 3 to 5 family members with children ages 6 and up. Must have at least 1 parent.
Includes: Instruction for the whole family
Lift tickets and rentals sold separately
