Snow Snake Race Academy
Registration Closed
The Snow Snake Race Academy provides expert ski racing training for young skiers in grades 2–8. Led by our highly skilled coach, Tim Gariglio and his experienced team, participants will be introduced to alpine racing while developing the fundamental skills needed to become successful racers. No prior racing experience is required—just a solid skiing ability and the confidence to ride the chairlift and navigate the race hill. This program is the perfect way for young athletes to build technique, speed, and a love for competitive skiing in a fun, supportive environment.
Please Note
All skiers/snowboarders must have a WAIVER signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Frequently Asked Questions
What to wear?
Students must have gloves/mittens, hats (helmets required), winter jackets, and snow pants. Dressing properly with layers is important. Glove protectors are recommended for tow rope use and are available for purchase at the front desk. Face coverings must be worn by everyone.
What if there is inclement weather?
If there is inclement weather, you will need to call the ski area to find out if there will be class. Generally, we do not cancel lessons because of weather conditions. If a class is canceled, it will be made up at the end of the classes if weather permits. Classes canceled due to the weather will not be refunded. All attempts will be made by the ski area to get the full five weeks of classes.
Is there a cancellation policy?
There will be a full refund if canceled 14 days prior to student’s first ski or board class. If the student skis the first week and does not wish to continue the program, there will be a refund of $30. There will not be any refunds given after the first week of lessons.
Are there any make-up days?
For whatever reason, if you must miss a day, unfortunately there will be no option to make up that day.
Are there any safety items I need to review?
Yes, every skier should know the Responsibility Code. Your instructor will will also review Your Responsibility Code during your lessons.
