We are dedicated to constantly maintaining the highest safety precautions.  The Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) is the voice of authority in the zip line and challenge course world, and we meet and exceed all safety standards.

About the builder
Our zip line course was created and designed by Universal Ropes Course Builders Inc., a Professional Vendor member of the ACCT.  A Professional Vendor is achieved by providing a minimum of two hundred days of qualified work as a builder and two hundred days of qualified training as a trainer.  The staff of Universal Ropes Course Builders, Inc. has over one thousand days of construction and over one thousand days of training history behind them.  Universal Builders is a recognized leader in designing courses and programs for inclusive participation by all populations.

Ground School
Before starting the tour, all guests complete Ground School, a sixty-foot “mini” zip line that prepares guests for the sensation of stepping off the platform, zipping, and landing.  This allows guests to understand how the equipment functions and how the guides will work together throughout the zip line tour.

Braking
Our ziplines all have gravity landings, meaning you will gradually slow down as you approach the landing. This safe braking system requires no previous experience by our guests.

Equipment
Snow Snake Zip Line Tours supplies guests with the most up-to-date safety equipment.  All guests are provided with helmets, harnesses, trolleys, and safety lanyards.  All zip line equipment is properly maintained and constantly inspected to ensure maximum safety.   All harnesses, lanyards, trolleys, and carabiners are rated to the standards outlined by the ACCT. Personally owned equipment is not permitted.

Inspection
Each zip line is inspected daily to ensure the course is prime condition to be enjoyed by our guests.  Daily inspection includes inspection of all trees and poles utilized by the zip line, guy lines/anchors, tires/ropes, landing areas, and cable.  An annual inspection is also completed in accordance with ACCT standards.
